Product Description
The Oakton pH 2100 is a benchtop meter that features ATC, five-point auto-calibration and comes with software, an attachable electrode stand and AC adapters. The benchtop meter is commonly used to measure ion concentration, pH, millivolts (mV), relative mV and temperature of a substance in pure and sea water testing and treatment, environmental monitoring and in educational, laboratory and pharmaceutical applications. This meter is micro-processor-based, incorporating an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) for reliability. It features five-point, push-button calibration with auto-buffer recognition of US and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) values, for fast response and resolution across a wide range of results. The meter has ATC for accurate readings, as well as dual-line, simultaneous display of pH or mV, and temperature readings in degrees C and F, and annunciators for ease of viewing. Its ion concentration mode directly displays readings in ppm, ppt or percent. It has Built-in, nonvolatile memory which stores up to 100 data sets in pH or mV with corresponding temperature for ease of reference, as well as date and time. It has a hold function for ease of recording readings, and an alarm function to indicate when calibration is due, as well as diagnostic error messages to prompt the user. It automatically calibrates and displays electrode slope and offset for checking electrode quality. The meter comes with a detachable electrode stand with the ability to hold four electrodes for ease of use, and a quick-reference information card that stores under the meter for ease of reference. The meter has analog reader output to create hard copies of readings, Windows-based Data Acquisition Software (DAS), and an RS-232 port for data transfer and recordings. It has user-defined intervals for regularly scheduled recalibration for Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) compliance. The 35621-00 pH 2100 meter has an operating temperature of -5.0 to 105 degrees C (23.0 to 221.0 degrees F), resolution 0.1 degree C/F, accuracy + or - 0.3 degrees C (0.5 degrees F), and manual calibration adjustable from -0.5 to 105.0 degrees C/23.0 to 221.0 degrees F, ATC offset + or - 5.0 degrees C (+ or - 9.0 degrees F). pH range -1.000 to 14.00, resolution 0.001/0.01 (user-selectable), accuracy + or - 0.002/+ or - 0.01, pH calibration up to 5 points (standard buffers); first point must be pH 7.000, 6.860 (offset) min 2 points and max 5 points for custom entry. at USA 1.68, 4.01, 7.00, 10.01, 12.45; NIST 1.68, 4.01, 6.86, 9.18, 12.45; Bf1 1.68, 4.01, 6.86, 10.01, 12.45; Bf2 1.68, 4.01, 7.00, 9.18, 12.45 buffer sets. mV/relative mV range -1850.0 to + 1850.0, resolution 0.1, accuracy + or - 0.2, calibration offset up to + or - 150. The meters dimensions are 9.2 (w) x 7.2 (d) x 2.5 (h) inches, and it weighs 1.4 lbs. It accepts serial output with RS-232 (9-pin female) specifications (selectable baud rate, stop bit, parity) for printer requirements. The meter accepts most pH, ORP or ISE electrodes with Bayonet-Neill Concelman see details
