Product Description
The HI 99141N is a waterproof, portable pH and temperature meter suitable for field use. The meter features a pH and temperature probe, a multi-level LCD screen, Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC), and a battery error protection system to prevent inaccurate readings. It includes on-screen tutorial messages for calibration and set up.
Calibration is automatic at one or two points with two sets of memorized buffers (Standard 4.01, 7.01, 10.01 or NIST 4.01, 6.86, 9.18), and calibration sachets are included.
The meter is supplied with a flat tip pH probe specifically designed for boiler and cooling tower applications. The probe is easy to clean and prevents solids in solutions from collecting on the sensor.
pH range is -2.00 to 16.00 (+ or - 0.02 pH at 20 degrees C) with a resolution of 0.01 pH. Temperature range is -5.0 to 105.0 degrees C (23.0 to 221.0 degrees F) + or - 0.5 degrees C (up to 60 degrees C) and 1.0 degrees C (outside); 1.0 degrees F (up to 140 degrees F) and 2.0 degrees F (outside) with a resolution of 0.1 degrees C (0.1 degrees F). The device operates on three 1.5V AAA batteries and turns off automatically after eight minutes of non-use. Dimensions are 152 x 58 x 30 mm/6.0 x 2.3 x 1.2 (H x W x D), and weighs 205 g/7.2 oz.
