The Hanna Instruments HI 2114P is a pH electrode with a double cloth junction, polyetherimide (PEI) body, spherical tip, a multipin connector, and a 2m (6.6') coaxial cable. A pH electrode is commonly attached to a pH meter to measure the pH of a substance such as water, food, beer, or wine in lab, industrial, and food applications. This electrode works with the HI 981406 pH/ORP indicator in pressurized systems up to 43.5 psi (3 bar). A cloth junction reduces sample solution ingress into the reference compartment for long electrode life. The PEI body with 7.5mm spherical tip is for use in moderately aggressive liquids, such as in wastewater, and for applications requiring stress resistance. A multipin connector provides tight cable connections. The electrode comes with a 2m (6.6') coaxial cable.

An electrode can be used with a datalogger to assist in temperature measurement.
