This recipe allows you to brew a lager at ale temperatures. This American style of beer was made popular during the gold rush. Similar to Anchor Steam. We do not recommend brewing this recipe without using the California Liquid yeast. Our ingredients for this recipe include: 6 lb. Gold liquid malt extract, 8 oz. Carapils, 8 oz. Caramel 40L specialty grains, 1 oz. Northern Brewer hops, 1 oz. Cascade hops, yeast, priming sugar and a grain bag.
