Designed to measure the refractive index of a solution. Brix percentage represents the total concentration of all soluble solids in the sample. Automatic temperature compensation (ATC) calculates the actual Brix percentage which changes as the temperature of the solution changes. Only 2 to 3 sample drope are required for a reading in 2 to 3 seconds. Calibrate with distilled or tap water. Can be cleaned under running water. IP65 water resistant. Range: brix 0.0 to 53.0 percent. Resolution: Brix 0.1 percent. Accuracy: Brix +/-0.2 percent. Temperature compensation: automatic, 10 to 75 degree C (50 to 140 degree F). Sample size: 0.3mL.
