The Hanna Instruments HI 1210B/5 is a submersible combination (full-cell) pH electrode with a double polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) junction, polyetherimide (PEI) body, a Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) connector, a 5m (16.4') cable, and operates under pressure. A pH electrode is commonly attached to a pH meter to measure the pH of a substance such as water, food, beer, or wine in lab, industrial, and food applications. This electrode can be used with Hanna electrode holders and assemblies (not included) for in-line and submersion applications and operates in pressurized systems up to 43.5 psi (3 bar). The double PTFE junction reduces sample solution ingress into the reference compartment for longer electrode life. The 110mm high PEI body is for use in moderately aggressive liquids, such as in wastewater, and for applications requiring stress resistance. The BNC connector includes provides tight cable connections. The electrode comes with a 5m (16.4') cable.

An electrode can be used with a datalogger to assist in temperature measurement.
