Product Description

The Thomas TS625 1235B76 is a benchtop pH, oxygen reduction potential (ORP)/mV, and temperature meter with up to three-point pH calibration, a dual-level LCD screen, a 3-in-1 pH electrode, electrode stand, and saves 80 data points. A pH meter is commonly used to measure the pH of substance such as water, food, beer, or wine in lab, industrial and food applications. An ORP meter, also known as a redox potential tester, is used to measure the oxidization or reduction capacity of a solution, and to monitor chemical reactions and ion activity. It is commonly used for water testing, pulp bleaching, and for biological sample analysis in swimming pools, cooling towers, waste water treatment, and industrial applications.

The dual-level LCD screen simultaneously displays the current measurement and the current temperature. Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) corrects readings for temperature offsets. An auto-read function takes readings only when they are stable. The meter has manual or automatic data storage with adjustable storage interval of up to 80 data points, and has an RS-232 interface for data transmission with adjustable transmission interval. The meter has up to three-point calibration with auto-buffer recognition of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Deutsches Institut fr Normung (DIN), and custom buffers. The meter comes with a 3-in-1 pH electrode with a Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) connector. The meter uses four 1.5V AA batteries (not included) for up to 3000 hours of continuous operation. An auto power-off feature turns the meter off after 60 minutes of inactivity to extend battery life. The Thomas TS625 1235B76 comes with an electrode stand and instructions.

A pH meter, also called a sensor or tester, is a device used to measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance. A pH meter has either a portable or a benchtop body. Many portable meters are handheld devices. Some testers have an internal sensor, and may have a tip and body that fit inside of a container for measurement. A meter is commonly used in many different environments from laboratories to field research and manufacturing facilities. Researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists use a pH meter in aquaculture, agricultural, wine-making, and water-testing, and for scientific applications. Some pH meters may measure additional parameters such as dissolved oxygen (DO), conductivity (also called see details
