The Hanna Instruments HI 3133B is a half-cell oxygen reduction potential (ORP)/mV electrode used for titration with a glass body, conical tip, platinum pin, and a Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) connector. An ORP electrode is used to measure the oxidization or reduction capacity of a solution, and to monitor chemical reactions and ion activity. It is commonly used for water testing, pulp bleaching, and for biological sample analysis in swimming pools, cooling towers, wastewater treatment, and industrial applications. The 120mm high glass body of this electrode has an outside diameter of 12mm for use in highly corrosive environments and high temperatures. The electrode has a platinum pin to measure conductivity. A BNC connector provides tight cable connections.
