These Hanna Instruments waterproof portable pH/ORP/temperature meters have automatic pH calibration, manual or Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC), replaceable probes, calibration diagnostics, and a backlit, graphic LCD screen. A pH meter is commonly used to measure the pH of substance such as water, food, beer, or wine in lab, industrial, and food applications. These meters have automatic pH calibration with seven standard buffers: 1.68, 4.01, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18, 10.01, and 12.45. ATC eliminates the need for extra calculations and provides accurate readings in fluctuating temperatures. The replaceable probes prolong the life of the meter. Calibration diagnostics include alerts for calibrations outside an adjustable range, notification when electrodes need cleaning, and an adjustable "calibration time out" to indicate when a new calibration is needed. The backlit, graphic LCD screen displays messages for easy calibration. The devices operate on four 1.2V AA rechargeable batteries, which provide approximately 200 hours of continuous use without backlight, and 50 hours with backlight.
