The Hanna Instruments HI 931101 is a waterproof, portable salinity and sodium content meter for use in laboratory and harsh processing environments with fixed temperature compensation, automatic calibration, a multilevel LCD screen, onscreen tutorial messages, and calibration reminders. A pH meter is commonly used to measure the pH of substance such as water, food, beer, or wine in laboratory, industrial, and food applications. The multilevel LCD screen simultaneously shows the current measurement, the current temperature, and has onscreen tutorial messages. This meter has fixed temperature compensation at 25 degrees C (77 degrees F) when using the HI 7662 stainless temperature probe (not included). The meter also has automatic one-or two-point calibration at 0.23g/L, 2.3g/L, and 23.0g/L. The meter uses the FC 300B sodium ion selective electrodes (ISE) probe (not included). The input impedance is 10 E 12 Ohm. The operating temperature is 0 to 50 degrees C (32 to 122 degrees F) with relative humidity of 95 percent. The meter dimensions are 185 x 72 x 36mm/7.3 x 2.8 x 1.4 inches (H x W x D).(H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) The meter uses three 1.5V AAA batteries (included) for up to 200 hours of continuous operation. The HI 931101 meter also comes with a carrying case and instructions.
